CPU usage more than expected when Anna is off

Weirdly when Anna is not activated CPU usage seems to increase than when not in use .

Check shows that a function is being called unwantedly.

Is the problem in on-off.js file? I can't figure this out as I am not able to test the changes which I do to the code.. @gauthamzz

start using the task manager of the chrome extension and on the extensions there is a background page. Use both that.

I think the increase in CPU is due applying the red coloured status button or some other check in background.js only. Which was added due to the status showinig cricular image.
