Difference between infer and predict

Hello,
what is the difference of state tx infer and state tx predict in terms of adata_pred output. I can see that the number of non-targeting cells are different. what's the reason of this?

Could you provide a few more details on the statistics of the non-targeting cells between predict and infer? Are you using the preprocess_infer command?
