Provide better introduction to the problem - it should include a justification about the data, why this sort of problem is done, and some brief info about how the data is gathered/generated
Provide links to documentation - explanations about common functions, invitations to research them on your own, screenshots and links to specific useful functions
Some students did not have any coding experience, having a few easier problems could be a better way to introduce them to this sort of ML problem
Iterative sessions during the lectures would be a good idea. Give them something hands on work on during the slides/connect to the slides to ease them into the exercises
Give them better breaks during the exercises - one person recommended mini-career talks could be interesting. They wanted to know about our work 🥺
