I'm trying the new builds of the world SDK patch and it fails to find the flatpak version of Protontricks on Bazzite. It also doesn't give me the option to manually set the proton install.
On the SDK Setting panel it just says "If proton tricks is installed, the patch will optionally use that to find your proton install" and doesn't give the option to manually set it or anything. And then the debug error that tells me "couldn't get Proton path.. You probobly forgot to set it at: VRChat control panel > Settings > Proton Python File" fires when I try and build.
So not sure if it's like half detecting something or what.
I did try to manually install Protontricks as well via their universal pip installation method on the website and it seems to fail to acknowledge either version of the install.
It does find the compatdata path fine though.
I added a couple of debug.log's to the world script that gives the error and this is what it returns. Not sure if that adds anything useful or not.
Not sure if I missed something obvious along the way or if it's a bazzite issue or what but thought I'd report it! Let me know if you can use any more info.
