F11 is fullscreen in Ubuntu terminal

The f11 key is a shortcut for fullscreen in ubuntu's terminal, while this can be disabled, we have 2 empty keybindings regardless, so we can avoid the issue all together by not assigning any keys past f10, just like htop. Tried and tested by someone else, so I'll go with it ;).

For f10, it is also mapped to something! You can disable this by unticking the following in preferences:

It is my genuine deeply held belief that terminals should bug off with their shortcuts by default, as a large amount of keybindings aren't available as is.

Anyway, f10 will be remapped to exit, you'll be able to just ctrl+c out anyway.

Marcelo and @keilabcs, can you try deleting the config.json and trying again now?

I notice a couple issues when testing also - the editor view shows our commands as part of the file (this is because they are added as functions in the REPL context, we should switch to .samples <package> which is the recommended way to add commands to the REPL, this will keep them out of there), and it looks like it ran my code even though I exited and didn't save.

I fixed the last one by checking if the file was modified.

@Brittany-Reid I did what was requested excluding config.json, but my functions (F1, F5 and F7) still don't work for me.

I realized that when I run the tool right on the console, just (F7 Copy) doesn't work for me. However, when it runs on the VsCode console, many others stop working like the ones mentioned above.

VSCode issue is documented in #27. You need to change the settings.json file with the settings I added, this is how I use the tool in VSCode.

Check your terminal settings, if f7 is mapped to any shortcuts. Also, send me your config.json, let's see if the key is mapped correctly.

F7 is correctly mapped. Can you try the original copy command, ctrl+s? It looks like the clipboardy package uses the pbcopy terminal command in macOS.

You should be able to test the copy by typing, pressing copy which puts the text on the clipboard, then pressing paste (or pasting into a text editor etc).

I just added a command for running logging, run:

npm run debug

And press f7, then send the log files. We will see if the button press is coming through. Also, did you check for any terminal settings that could be interfering?
