Zed. It combines Helix’s keymap with the features of a lightweight IDE.
It’s a personal preference. Rather than installing a large number of plugins and hunting for the right ones, Helix offers many features out of the box. The documentation is excellent, and if you're already familiar with Neovim, the learning curve is gentle. I also enjoy the redesigned keymap and other built-in features. Once Helix becomes more refined, I’ll consider making the full switch.
Homebrew. It’s the only package manager I use. Check the provided Brewfile to see what packages I’ve installed. You can search for a package's contents using the CLI or visit the Brew website.
Soon! I’ll be setting up an Arch Linux rice once I’ve gathered the funds for parts.
This is a clean install. I'm intentionally keeping things minimal. Since this is my personal machine, I prefer to compartmentalize and add only what I truly need.
To be candid—whenever I feel like it. That said, if I had to give a rough estimate, I’d say quarterly.
