Some Minecraft Modrinth Store downloads are placed in wrong location

I confirm that

• I have searched for an existing bug report for this issue.
• I am using the latest available version of AMP.
• my operating system is up-to-date.

Intended Action

Attempting to download any of the following mods results in their corresponding .jar files being placed in the wrong location:

Chunky for Fabric, EmoteCraft for Fabric, Geyser for Fabric, and Simple Voice Chat for Fabric

Modrinth filters are correctly set (1.21.11, fabric, mod) and server type is set to Fabric. The correct .jar file is being downloaded, according to the version and loader specified in the filter, but is then being placed in the wrong location.

Expected Behaviour

The downloaded .jar files are placed in the mods folder.

Actual Behaviour

The downloaded .jar files are placed in the plugins folder, which Fabric does not read from. The correct .jar file is being downloaded, according to the version and loader specified in the filter, but is then being placed in the wrong location.

Reproduction

1. Set server type to Fabric, and perform basic server setup
2. Stop the server, navigate to Store, Modrinth, and then correctly set filters (your version, fabric, mod)
3. Search for any of the mods listed above, and download them

From what I can guess, the issue is likely caused by a couple factors:

• the projects being multi-platform
• the projects being under modrinth.com/plugin/xxxx
  • (I assume) the store plugin bases the target directory on this alone
  • If so, then the inverse could happen with multi-platform projects under modrinth.com/mod/xxxx

Instead, the store plugin should be checking the project download's supported platforms and inferring the target directory based on that.

Rule of thumb:

• Fabric/Quilt/Forge/NeoForge/Sponge -> /mods
  • *Some Sponge versions do support using /plugins or /mods/plugins, but /mods is always bound to work
• Bukkit/Spigot/Paper/Purpur/Velocity/BungeeCord/Waterfall -> /plugins

In the uncommon case where a single download supports both modded/plugin platforms in a single Jar, the store plugin could infer the target directory based on the modded platform used in the initial search, or if that info isn't passed through nicely, it could use the MC instance's Server Type as a guide. Imo this is pretty uncommon though, and can probably be added later as a separate tweak to the store plugin.

I'll have to look at the cause because it does base it on the mod loader.
