Goal
Confirm the published v0.1.2 archives on real macOS hosts outside GitHub-hosted CI.
The release workflow already builds and installer-smokes both Apple Silicon and Intel archives on GitHub-hosted macOS runners. This issue tracks the remaining user-environment checks: terminal behavior, TUI rendering, Gatekeeper behavior, and optional agent-host integration.
Requested checks
- record macOS version and architecture (
arm64 or x86_64)
- verify the downloaded archive against
SHA256SUMS
- run
mge --version, mge tui --help, and mge setup --help
- use a temporary store for
init -> remember -> recall -> checkpoint -> seal -> validate --deep
- optionally open
mge tui in Terminal or iTerm2 and report rendering/input issues
- optionally test
mge setup generic-mcp with a local MCP-capable host
Release: https://github.com/ECD5A/Memory-Genome-Engine/releases/tag/v0.1.2
Reporting safety
Do not attach real memory stores, passphrases, environment files, private corpus data, or secrets. A minimal reproduction with a temporary store is sufficient.
Completion
Close after successful reports cover Apple Silicon and Intel, or split any reproducible platform issue into a focused bug report.
