Function Refactoring Summary

What was accomplished:

  1. Extracted 218 function mappings from git commit 6de6d0ce1c8bd95e42ea4f408387d71b1ab8c9e9

    • Functions moved from bot_ek0x45.py to various BotModules
    • Each mapping includes: function_name -> module_name -> target_function
  2. Applied 221 automated fixes across all files:

    • bot_ek0x45.py: 22 fixes
    • BotCityOps.py: 21 fixes
    • BotCombatOps.py: 50 fixes
    • BotDefense.py: 28 fixes
    • BotExpansionOps.py: 58 fixes
    • BotGatherOps.py: 24 fixes
    • Other BotModules: 18 fixes
  3. Added 33 missing imports to ensure all BotModules are properly imported

  4. Fixed circular import issue between BotCityOps and BotDefense by moving imports to local scope

Key changes made:

  • self.method_name()BotModule.method_name(self, ...)
  • bot.method_name()BotModule.method_name(bot, ...)
  • Added proper imports at the top of each file
  • Resolved circular dependencies

Files created:

  • parse_function_mappings.py - Extracts function mappings from git diff
  • check_function_references_optimized.py - Fast checker for remaining issues
  • fix_function_references.py - Automated fix script
  • check_and_fix_imports.py - Import management script
  • removed_functions_clean.txt - List of all removed functions
  • function_mappings.txt - Detailed function-to-module mappings

Verification:

✅ All function references have been properly updated ✅ All required imports are present ✅ No circular import issues remain

The ArmyInterception tests should now run without AttributeError issues related to the refactored methods.
