Issues running PLEXOS with Python

Hi, I've been trying to run PLEXOS simulations in the same way you've described in launcher.py (in the End to End folder) and I'm encountering the following error message about it not finding a licence

I successfully get the PLEXOS simulation to run if I use the command line directly.

Have or do you encounter this problem too?

Hi there Tim, The above screen shot makes it look as though you are invoking PLEXOS64.exe from the command line. Can you provide the Python statement(s) that you are using that lead to this issue? Thanks, Steven

Hi Steven, Ah your right it does look like that. Its because my script prints the line it is about to run, apologies. The line of python that runs the code is the following subprocess.call([self.plexos_path, self.xml_file, '-n', '-o', self.output_folder_name, '-m', self.model_name]) I’ve tried is in a variety of ways (run, os.sytstem, shell=True etc.) all give the same error message. Also could I ask what version of python and 'subprocess' is your example using?
