No more multichannel audio

For a few weeks i can't donwload multichannel audio anymore. In "select format" it shows stereo audio only. Everything is up to date (interfaxe, yt-dlp, ffmpeg).

Deleted and dowloaded everything from scratch (ffmpeg & yt-dlp version are from december 2025) and it shows the 6ch tracks but lead to an error when triyng to download. I updated ffmpeg and Dlp and i dont see the 6ch tracks anymore.

Make sure you have deno.exe alongside yt-dlp.exe (deno.exe is included in ytdlp-interface.7z, you just need to extract it from the archive). With deno present and the latest yt-dlp, you should see all formats and be able to download them. If it still doesn't work, please post a link to the video.

Deno.exe is in the directory but still not working. I tried with many 5.1 video from this channel and only stereo formats are listed ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mc-MFuKBA7c ).

Yt-dlp github mentionned the same problem here yt-dlp/yt-dlp#15847 but i'm not sure i understand everything.

It looks like yt-dlp needs to authenticate so it can use a player client for which those formats are available. In ytdlp-interface, go to Settings -> yt-dlp and set Load cookies from browser: to your browser. This will not work with Chromium-based browsers (I have Firefox so it worked for me). Edit: and of course, you need to be logged in to YouTube in that browser.
