- Yes
- No
Describe the bug
When booting any linux os, the laptop bios logo doesn't show until around 32 seconds, screen remains black with backlight on and then after around 32 seconds. Then logo shows up and then it loads linux OS. It happens both on installed and live versions of any linux os that has atleast kernel 6.14 for this model.
If i run windows it instantly gives bios logo and loads windows alot faster, idk why it takes longer for linux thought. Since it should be same.
Expected behavior
Expected the laptop to boot linux as fast as it boots windows.
Operating System (please complete the following information):
- OS/Distribution: Zorin OS *Also occurs on any other linux os!
- Version: 18 pro
- Linux Kernel Version: 6.14.0-37-Generic
Additional context
I'm not sure if this is a bios related issue but i suspect it could be since i saw another user posted similar delay for FW Desktop with same bios version so that is why i think FW Laptop 16 is suffering the same symptom as the FW Desktop.
