problem with recording anything than nav-sol message

Hi, it seems I can only log nav-sol messages; basically, I updated the record_pseudorange example to work with my neo-m8 receiver but the only two messages I can log are nav-sol and nav-clock data; no other messages can be recorded; any idea what I should do? thanks
