[Issue] When switching photos are not visible

Hi, when switching from the Gallery to the Library, no photos are visible until the scan is completed.
I think it the scan because it reaper after like 5 seconds

It only happen when going from the Gallery to the Library

Update: it happens also when going to a folder in the Gallery view

What version of the app do you have installed? What version of the operating system?
Did you grant full access to the file system or just to media files?

Android 16
And full access to the file system

If that can help too, it happens whatever the folder size, it could be just 10 photos or 2000 it take the same amount of time regardless

It does seem tho that it related to the "pull to refresh" & "show images in the highest quality"
As when toggling off either of them the load speed cut by half on big folders or goes instant on folder less than 1400~ photos
So maybe it could be the thumbnail size? I don't know if it is related to the "show images in the highest quality" or not.

Toggling both off them off doesn't cut the load speed more.

It doesn't help the load speed of the Library part unfortunately.

I do have around 20000~ media, so i know it would take some time to load, but i expect it on the initial scan, but it isn't the case here

Try reducing the quality and changing the file download priority.

File download priority is already at speed i don't know where is the quality setting to reduce it.
Unless your talking about "show images in the highest quality"?

Yes, I meant these settings. If there are a lot of files and they're very high quality, try waiting; it should be a little faster after caching.

Is there anything else you could do maybe to make it so it a little faster ?
It just kinda annoying to wait on the Library page each time i open the app :(

I'll see what I can do, but so far I haven't been able to reproduce this issue on any of the test devices. Could you please clarify the model of your device?

Okay, i've just tested it out, still have the same issues, but definitely a little faster than before
