SEC quadborgs need more module slots and space for cuffs / warrants #2012

Description

@Slatebreaker

Core goal

  • SEC quadborgs need more module slots so they are in line with other quadborgs
  • SEC quadborgs need a way to store handcuffs and warrants so they can properly do arrests

Detailed description

  • SEC quadborgs only have 5 module slots. Four of these are already: Tools, combat, nonlethal and investigation. This leaves only one slot for either storage or frontier, or else you have to sacrifice one of your starting modules. All the other quadborgs have more module slots.
  • In order to arrest someone, you typically need a warrant and cuffs. SEC borgs have one hand slot and a storage module is an upgrade, not something they start with. SEC borgs should have a slot for handcuffs in their nonlethal module, and a slot for a document folder to hold warrants in their investigation module, so they can properly perform an arrest in accordance with SoP.

Why this change?

  • It allows more loadout flexibility for SEC borgs
  • It allows a SEC quadborg to perform an arrest without having to carry handcuffs in its maw at all times

Type of change

New feature / addition

Potential downsides

  • Too many module slots could lead to SEC quadborgs being too versatile?

Alternatives considered

  • A dedicated module for cufffs/warrants? Seems like unnecessary bloat, and switching to it from nonlethals is just more mechanical effort

Submission checklist

  • I have searched for existing issues (open/closed) and this is not a duplicate
  • I understand that this proposal will need 48h discussion + 24h vote before possible implementation
  • I am aware that directors may overrule a vote with a public reason
