[evlog/axiom] Failed to send events

Description

I’m seeing this error a lot in stdout like 2-3 times in a minute:

[evlog/axiom] Failed to send events: DOMException [AbortError]: This operation was aborted

Is this normal, or is something failing that I should look into?

Starting on March 15, 2026 (IST), we began seeing this error repeatedly in our server logs:

[evlog/axiom] Failed to send events: DOMException [AbortError]: This operation was aborted

This started while we were doing a production switch. Before that, we had never seen this error in this environment, so this appears to be new and correlated with that change.

Environment

Framework: Hono

Runtime/adapter: Node.js adapter

What we know so far

First observed: March 15, 2026 (IST)

Happens repeatedly in server logs

Started during a production switch

Had not occurred before this

If there’s any other context that would help debug this, happy to provide it.

Could you try the new version (2.8.0)? The error messages should be clearer, and there's now a retry feature for the adapters
