I am quite keen on this and participating in GSoC 2026 also For context, I've been contributing to the Julia ecosystem and have 2 merged PRs in JuliaLang and DataFrames.jl.

Hi @CarloLucibello , following up on this thread I’ve started outlining a Pluto.jl tutorial for a GNN-based recommender system using MovieLens as part of my GSoC proposal.

The plan is to cover:
-Loading MovieLens -> constructing a GNNHeteroGraph
-Defining a GraphSAGE model for link prediction
-Training and evaluating with metrics like Hits@K

I’m aligning this with the “Recommender Systems with GNNs” idea mentioned here. I’ll proceed with a draft implementation and would be happy to adapt it based on any feedback.

Sharing this here in case it aligns with the direction of the repository.
