Question: Why do you hardcode build number?

Looking at your commit message, I thought it may be intentional, if its not I would like to attempt making a PR with an approach like:

it was fetching it every run which was creating a bottleneck those properties barely change hardcoding them allowed it to skip a lot of steps before initiating a connection just like the python library hardcodes them you can read it, it's a simple tradeoff btw performance and reliability.
