Are the edges in MUTAG bidirectional?

The mutag dataset seems to have bidirection edges in A.txt file and edges_gt.txt. Are these bidirectional edges reduced to non directional edges anywhere in the code? If not, does the explainer give 1 score per edge or 1 score per directional edge? The latter doesn't make sense. What do you think @LarsHoldijk?
