[Enhancement]: Migrate branches 24.04/26.04 (when released)to single install for both

Description

Currently we have a branch for every release of Ubuntu. Need to move to a single branch for both. Going forward we will only support/test LTS releases

Proposed Solution

Create a new unified branch for testing then merge that to main

Created new branch and began the process to create a unified installer for all supported versions of ubuntu

Ubuntu 26.04 is already released, is there any progress of this release? Last time I tried to install on 26.04 with the branch 24.04, but unfortunately failed. Looking forward to your reply.

Ubuntu 26.04 is not yet released. Not until around April 26th. The 26.04 repo has an older version of HL 53.3. I chatted with the maintainer of the PPA for ubuntu. Once it's released he will update his repo to support 26.04 and I can begin testing the installer and the dotfiles.
