Abstract out the general principle behind the "engineer brain" notion that for there to be order there must be someone doing the ordering---it is seen both in those who use the "fine tuning" argument for the existence of god, and in those socialists who advocate a centrally planned "economy."

this is seen also in statism, including Ayn Rand's statism---the implication of her inclusion of a state is that men cannot organise and enforce natural law without there being a central entity to do the ordering of this oh-so-important business.

The important aspect to address and error to avoid is in any conflation between the metaphysically given and the man-made.
