Would you kindly assist on the following? Running

multipop_selection_pipeline -p CEU_ids.txt -p YRI_ids.txt -i CEU_YRI_lactase.vcf --config-file ~/tools/selectionTools/defaults.cfg -a "--phased-vcf" -c 2

on test data (SelectionPipelineTestData/lactase ) stops returning the last message in multi_population.log as follow:

selection_pipeline STDERR: UnboundLocalError: local variable 'ancestral_fasta' referenced before assignment

What can be the possible treatment for the calculation to be fully performed?

My best guess at the moment would be that you the ancestral fasta files are not being found by the script
Could you post the contents for ~/tools/selectionTools/defaults.cfg

Hi Murray!

Thanks a lot for the reply. It hinted me to check ~/tools/selectionTools/referencefiles/ancestral_ref. I noticed ancestral reference data were placed in sub-folder within this folder. I moved them one level up, run the calculation and it came to the end. The 'UnboundLocalError' is resolved. The default.cfg is enclosed. I appreciate your time and wish you every success and development!
