Debian and derivatives cannot install

Observations

I cannot install Debian 12 or 13 (netinst images) or Proxmox VE 9 on any machine that I tested, either VM or baremetal.
MY USB key is v-fat formatted (default). MultiOS-USB version is 0.10.1.

The Debian/Proxmox installer boot properly (grubcfg is used) but then when the installer tries to start the actual install process, it fails.

On the contrary, Pop!_OS and Fedora are booting and installing just fine.

Tried things

• Clear the installation media and reinstall MultiOS-USB latest official version
• Try to format the partition with a different file system, like exFat

What exactly do you see that’s wrong?

For a fast fix using Debian netinst as Installer:

1. Create an (additional) fat32 partition of size bigger than netinst ISO image on your MultiOS-USB.
2. Extract whole content (mounting ISO by double click & drag&drop content) of netinst image to fat32 partition. If there is a warning fat32 can not hold 'links', you can ignore it.
3. After extraction is finished, reboot into MultiOS-USB and choose 'EFI-Tools' -> 'Detect grub.cfg...' There should be a new 'grub.cfg' entry of the new fat32 partition. This should load netinst grub menu. The installer should work this way.
