Image Gallery

This is a simple image gallery web application built using the MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) stack.

Getting Started

  1. Clone the repository:
git clone https://github.com/UmbrellaSkiies/Image_Gallery
  1. Install the dependencies:
cd client
npm install

cd ../server
npm install
  1. Set up the environment variables:
MONGODB_URI=<your-mongodb-uri>
CLOUDINARY_CLOUD_NAME=<your-cloudinary-cloud-name>
CLOUDINARY_API_KEY=<your-cloudinary-api-key>
CLOUDINARY_API_SECRET=<your-cloudinary-api-secret>
  1. Start the development server:
cd client
npm start

cd ../server
nodemon server.js
  1. Open your browser and visit http://localhost:3000 to see the application.
