ibis model support

Hello - I am coming to SignalIntegrity from MG HyperLynx. I was hoping to test drive with a LVPECL IBIS model. I searched around and couldn't find a single mention of IBIS in the docs.

Am I missing something obvious here? Is it possible to extract the driver impedance model from ibis to s-parameters and excite it with an ideal source?

Please advise if there is a forum or other place better suited for this type of question.

Hello.

About your question, you can extract driver impedance from IBIS model. One method presented here by Bert Simonovich :

Indeed, it could be a big enhancement if signalintegrity software could support IBIS model. I use this tool often and each time I use it, I think this is a lack.

Nevertheless, I know this is a free tool and thanks a lot to the author.
