First, very nice app, I really the work you all are doing.
My issue was that I was unable to get PixelPlayer to parse my library until I removed the .nomedia file. Sadly for me I need that file to make sure my music library doesn't clutter other apps that parse your files for media. Like my gallery, that otherwise gets flooded with album covers...
Describe the solution you'd like
If PixelPlayer wants to skip .nomedia folders than it should allow the user to point anyway to a folder, regerdless of its content. I find the default behavior of exluding targets instead of specifying them weird in general. Usually your music library isn't scattered around. I think UX wise is more natural to specify the targets, and only if strictly needed blacklist folders within the specified target list. In the current setup I had to blacklist everything beside the folder where I store my music, basically inverting the logic.
