I'm always frustrated when holding a part I cannot find its part number.
This is true even when we are 3D printing parts during development and the design is evolving.
Describe the solution you'd like
A clear and concise description of what you want to happen.
For the enclosure parts deboss (and in come cases emboss) the part number.
While we are at it on some part of the enclosure deboss a Public Invention Logo.
Describe alternatives you've considered
A clear and concise description of any alternative solutions or features you've considered.
From time to time I write with a sharpie the part number or date and time on the part, typically where it cannot be seen when the enclosure is assembled.
