Found missing icons in the "Mail Folder Commands" popup of the folder toolbar.

these rules are in quickfolders-143.css - I reckon this style sheet is not loaded in the document context that contains the current folder toolbar. This one is loaded via a polyfill function that only is loaded from Thunderbrid 143 forward, and requires the WindowListener:

My previous assumption about the polyfill was incorrect, the rules aren't even in the 143 file. I had to added additional rules for the three icons by providing an alternative rule. Surprisingly, rendering of the popup on the button vs the popup on right-clicking the current folder tab are rendered differently and use different rules for images. Example:
