Description
Thunderbird version: 148.0.1 (64-bit)
Platform: Windows 11 (latest patches applied)
quickFilters version: 6.11 (bold version? – please confirm if it's the standard or Pro)
I have a large mail pool on Google IMAP server.
I have over 1100 mail filter rules already.
Steps to reproduce:
- Open Message Filters dialog
- Add a new filter rule (or edit existing)
- Set destination folder and other conditions
- Click OK/Commit to save changes
- Exsisted filter rule set editing and Click OK/Commit to save changes does not crush the Thunderbird App at all.
- No crush report left while Thunderbird App curushed.
Result: Thunderbird crashes immediately or shortly after committing.
Expected: Changes are saved without crash.
Additional info:
- Occurs specifically when adding to a very large filter set (1100+ rules)
- No crash when filters are few
- Using Google IMAP account with huge number of messages
Is there a known limitation in quickFilters / Thunderbird for managing very large numbers of filters?
Can provide crash report / error console log if needed.
Thank you!
