the code does not load anything when typing in find/search

Hi,
I built the sencha project from scratch and when I do preview, when I type anything in the search button nothing comes up. It is the same when I clone the repository and preview it. My Google places API key is working as I have rechecked it. Please help

One thing to check is to do a diff (diffmerge app) of your project versus the one hosted here and see where your code differs from ours.

The code does not differ at all just for the google API key. However it seems to be a problem with the getJson.php file because when I type anything in the find box, a brief grey loading screen shows up and then back to the white screen. I think my store is unable to load the data from the google places API

can you call the getJson.php file directly and get expected results?

I am using the getJson.php file from the github but since the url generated is dynamic hence we cannot populate the store. Can you elaborate what you mean by calling file directly?
