Sometimes it's hard to get aimed at a target, and then move your eyes to the controls without it moving the camera. This is improved a lot by dwell building and mining, but might still be an issue for some.
Consider an "aim once" shortcut - press the key, and it lets you point the camera, until you stop moving - like a 'viewpoint-dwell'. Then the camera is fixed until you turn looking on again. This would be easy to implement for mouse-emulation, but a bit harder for native eye trackers, since we don't usually override the camera controls there, we just turn magnetic mouse on or off. But potentially solvable, if this is helpful.
