Describe the bug
In my environment I have the log rotation interval set to 6 hours. The resulting daily log zip file includes four log files. For example, yesterday's zip file, 2025-11-05_00.zip includes the following four files:

  • 2025-11-06_00-00-00_GNSS-1.ubx
  • 2025-11-05_18-00-00_GNSS-1.ubx
  • 2025-11-05_12-00-00_GNSS-1.ubx
  • 2025-11-05_06-00-00_GNSS-1.ubx

I suspect this happens at intervals other than 6hr, but I don't have a complete set yet. I am currently testing 3hr as well.

To Reproduce
1: Set the file logging interval to 6 hours
2: Wait for a full 24hr cycle (00:00-23:59)
3: Examine the resulting zip file contents

Expected behavior
A daily log zip file should only include the log files for the day in question.

Software/Hardware (please complete the following information):

  • RTKBase release number 2.6.3
  • OS: Debian 12
  • SBC n/a
  • GNSS Device: Ublox F9P
  • Connection type: usb

I have also confirmed, by running the contents of the zip file through RTKCONV, that the contents of the files included in the zip file match their names, so it's not just a matter of the files having the wrong name.
