How to send to remote server

I'm trying to send the metrics of my processes to a remote Prometheus server instead creating a local /metrics server, but I cannot make it work with this library (I've read the docs but I don't find if it's even implemented).

– Is it implemented? Where can I read about how it works?
– May I try to implement it?

@Miguel-Herrero usually metrics are exposed by services and the Prometheus server scrapes them on a regular basis
In order to push a set of metrics one needs to put in place a pushgateway:
https://github.com/prometheus/pushgateway and PUT or POST the metrics into it.

Currently the prometheus_client_nodejs does not support the push API directly.
One can generate the metrics with client and PUT/POST them to the gateway.
