[Bug] Mod keys cause crash when running compiled linux binary

Describe the bug
Every time I use the shift key it closes. I doubt that is supposed to happen

iPod model
7th gen classic, flash mod with iflash uDual

To reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behaviour:

1. Go to, anywhere in the program
2. Press the shift key
3. Program is closed

Expected behaviour
Capital letters when typing, or the ability to select multiple items from a list

the issue is likely isolated to a compiled version, running from python source shouldn't do this. which method did you install iopenpod with?

iirc i first tried the flatpack version that didn’t work somehow, but then trying the appimage did.

edit: i have since updated to the latest flatpak version. the problem now also closes on the ctrl or alt keys

to anyone having this issue: the current work around is to install using PyPi such as pipx or uv tool.

Im thinking of deprecating compiled binaries for all platforms as they are unstable.
