Nice script, helps a lot with our stream&pond build!

For any standard-installation with python3 you have to

wget https://bootstrap.pypa.io/pip/2.7/get-pip.py
python2 get-pip.py
pip2 install opencv-python==4.2.0.32

Thank you, @charles-moody! It's nice to hear that you have found a good use for this script. I haven't updated it in a while, but I've been meaning to come back to it and polish it up—and maybe add some new features, as well.

Also, that's a good note regarding the need for the installation of pip2 and opencv-python. (As an aside, I should have defined a requirements.txt file in this repository....) I would eventually like to refactor this script to use Python 3, instead. But for now, this is good to know.

Finally, if you don't mind sharing (totally understand if you would prefer not to), could you post a timelapse recording of your stream & pond build? 😃

For sure I'll send you the video - we're still working on it, in a month or so it will be done and then I'll put it together and send it to you; in case you like it you can even post/link to it.
