Cant read .class file even when its in right location

On MAC OS and WINDOWS I have the same error when tryin to run the Colonyarea plugin

Plugins>clolony area>colony area leads to following error: Plugin or class not found: "Colony_area" (java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: Colony_area.

I already have made sure I have all correct files downloaded and copied to the plugins folder.

@wajihjawhar1 How did you install this plugin? Did you use the FIJI update site Help --> Update --> Manage Update Sites --> ColonyArea or did you copy the files from this repository, or did you manually install some other way?

@junelsolis thank you for responding! I downloaded through Fiji update site and checked manually that the 4 plugin files are in the plugins folder... I cannot understand why this is happening. My Fiji and mac are also up to date.

@wajihjawhar1 This particular error message shows up when Colony area -> Colony area is selected from the Fiji plugins menu without first pre-processing the image as required.

Could you please try this again, but follow the detailed instructions found in the Usage section of the README.md. Let me know how it goes.

@junelsolis I followed everything carefully on both my mac and PC and still have the same error... The image is already straight because it is scanned, but I am still applying steps 1 and 2. The file is .TIFF and high resolution. I tried copying the plugin files directly under plugin folder instead having them in a subfolder, still didn't work out.... I don't know if the plugin is maybe incompatible with the newest release of FIJI or what exactly... I will try to run my analysis with python, but there might be an issue with the plugin. Thanks !

@wajihjawhar1 I can reproduce the issue on the latest version of Fiji. We'll be looking to make a fix for this as soon as possible. Thank you for your report.
