Hello,
i have installed your Android Apps "Android Proxy Server" and "Network Share Tunnel".
I have some questions:
-
In Google's Playstore, you offer some more Apps, all round Proxy/VPN (AndProxy, VPN Proxy Server:Tether NoRoot). What are the differences?
-
I am using OpenVPN on my Android Device from Arno Schwabe (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.blinkt.openvpn&hl=de) Do I have to use "Network Share Tunnel" or not? I am Connecting to my own self-administrated OVPN-Server at home.
-
I tested http-Proxy and Socks-Proxy from a Windows device. It seems that "Android Proxy Server" on Android-Device does only use the DNS-Server of the original connection of Android-Device (--> DNS-Servers of the original Wifi-Connection, DNS-Servers of the original cellular connection). Beside OVPN-Server, i am also running my own DNS-Server (=PiHole) at home in private Network (192.168.x.x). Other Apps on Android Device use my private DNS-Server which is pushed fromt OVPN-Server to device. "Android Proxy Server" seems not using this pushed DNS-Server. My private Networks via IP also cannot be reached over "Android Proxy Server"
-
Would you be so kindly and explain "ShadowSocks Service", how to install it, and when it is useful to be used it.
Thanks.
