Offline background map

I need to plan and fly in remote area without internet access. When i want to plant the route using DJI mapper app, it cannot display the google map, thus i can plan and fly on the spot. Is it possible to create a google map cache to enable the fully offline use?

I have made a quick test on the web app in an Android device using Chrome:

• Load the web app
• Navigate the map to the location in interested on
• Close the web app (close the tab)
• Turn off WiFi and cellular data
• Load the web app again
  I'm able to see the maps that I had previously loaded

I haven't tested this on any other browser or system.
But my guess is that any other OS with Chrome would be able to handle this.
