opencyc-4.0-linux.tgz may be corrupted

Hello,
I'm trying to unpack opencyc-4.0-linux.tgz with the command tar -xvzf opencyc-4.0-linux.tgz but I get the following output:

$ tar -xvzf opencyc-4.0-linux.tgz
gzip: stdin: not in gzip format
tar: Child returned status 1
tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now

It's the archive corrupted or do I need to do something else?

The files are stored using Git LFS (https://github.com/git-lfs/git-lfs/wiki/Tutorial)

git lfs pull --include opencyc-4.0-linux.tgz

do I need to do something else?

It's just that GitHub is obviously not the right place for storing big binary files. So we can't really download these archives ATM. I'd suggest that the author or someone else (who already has downloaded the files successfully) submits mirroring links to Google Drive or Dropbox, etc.
