Command line exposure for bits in .jam files

So I see how the -mmacosx-version-min= flag gets passed in this file, but I have no idea how to tickle that. It seems like macosx-version-min is declared as a feature, but is that accessible from the command line at all? If it has to be plumbed through the project, is there any way to dump out what it wants on the command line to make it happen?

I managed to figure it out. The flag only applies if using toolchain=darwin, not when using toolchain=clang (which seems to need explicit flag settings per language and for the linker).

That's correct. As the darwin toolset specifically targets the Apple LLVM clang variant. It would be easy enough to add the options to the bare Clang that runs on MacOS. But that might require some figuring out the various compile and link options.

I believe the flag is the same for gcc and upstream clang as well. At least CMake thinks so.
