Domain blocked in india?

I got this report via email:

...to my surprise, your website is blocked in India. I'm really not sure why, Is there a source I can read up to know what happened?

I then had to use a VPN to open up your page.

I've attached a screenshot for your reference.

After doing a bit of research, it looks like the most likely cause is some sort of copyright / trademark infringement:

Most of these bans are instigated under copyright and trademark infringement without proper security measures and lists that they provide without proper research or professional technical services.

I'm not aware of any blatant copyright/trademark infringement on my domain. The closest thing might be the after-dark-in-css project, of which legal status I describe in detail here.

If anyone knows how to find out why a domain gets blocked like this or how to get it unblocked, please let me know!

Another update: If you live in India and your ISP is blocking this site, you can report the issue here: https://savetheinternet.in/report.

I'm not too familiar with the https://savetheinternet.in organization (which makes me a little skeptical), but I checked out the other details on the site and it seems pretty legit to me. Feel free to do your own research and before submitting the form.

Hi,
I'm not even getting the form to fill, anyway even if there was any form to fill these things rarely work now. There's no one who'll take action. Under current govt, there nothing can be done, unless you're of any use to them. I wouldn't stress about it.
