How to set up empty dishwasher chore?

I'm new to ChoreOps, how should I set up an empty dishwasher chore? It's not a task that can be scheduled.
Create a new chore with an automation every time the dishwasher finishes? Or perhaps update an existing chore?
I've tried both with no success, guess I haven't figured out all the possible settings.

I want the assignee to get a notification from ChoreOps when the chore is created/updated.
When overdue(x hours?) another notification should be sent.

Thank you for developing ChoreOps. I think it will be a excellent tool for our family.

I used Option 1: The "Native" Way (Highly Recommended) described in your link.
