When I first created the plugin, my own philosophy on how to integrate and speak the language of the block editor was just emerging, a lot of which I demonstrated and experimented with in the creation of this block plugin. But something that is perhaps subtle but makes an impact when it comes to the cohesive feel of the block editor is ensuring that icons feel similar in style to the core blocks, even their presentation in the Block Library.
For that reason, the block icon should be updated to be a bit simpler, more bold, and be just a black icon on a transparent background.
