[Bug] No sessions listed after "openclaw sessions cleanup --fix-missing --enforce"

Description

I had a long list of stale sessions, that I wanted to clean up, so I did
openclaw sessions cleanup --fix-missing --enforce
Now my list of sessions on the right hand side is empty, but the Footer says "43 active sessions"

Steps to Reproduce

1. Have sessions that can be cleaned up by "fix-missing" (with no parents)
2. Run openclaw sessions cleanup --fix-missing --enforce
3. Go to "Chat" in the uI

Expected Behavior

The sessions should be listed

Actual Behavior

"No active sessions"

Same issue here. Sessions list is empty in the sidebar but footer shows active session count correctly. This started happening after a recent OpenClaw gateway update — the sessions API response format may have changed and Nerve hasn't adapted yet.

Thanks for the report, I’ve got a draft fix up in #297.

My current read is that after openclaw sessions cleanup --fix-missing --enforce, the sidebar can end up empty if some parent/root session rows are removed while child sessions still exist. The UI was handling parentId but not the newer parentSessionKey shape.

The fix drafted in #297 seems like the way to go it but before merging I’d love to validate against a real affected payload instead of guessing.

If you’re comfortable, could you share a sanitized sessions.listpayload from the broken state, or even just a few representative rows? The useful fields are:

• sessionKey
• parentSessionKey
• parentId
• label / displayName

Feel free to redact names/content, just keep the structure and parent-child relationships intact. That would let me confirm the fix against the actual response shape without asking anyone to rerun cleanup.
