How to use?

Some description on how to use the tool etc. would be highly appreciated!

When I run ./packages/PlgxTool.1.0.0/tools/PlgxTool.exe --build FOLDER, I receive the following error

The URL cannot be empty.
Parameter name: url

You have to add some stuff to your .csproj file. See https://github.com/dlech/KeePassPluginDevTools/blob/master/SamplePlugin/SamplePlugin.csproj.

I also have some emails from last year where I worked through this with someone else. I'll see if I can dig them up.

Yes, there will be some manual editing of the .csproj required.

I think the main things are adding a new project configuration:

Adding a build step that calls the BuildPlgx target:

Add a property group for plgx options if needed:

Thanks for your description!

I tried to call the tool manually and found the following issues:

• ommitting config parameter does not work (this is where the mentioned url error comes from) -> would be better to leave these options out in this case as does the original KeePass.exe
• it aborts with an error when the output directory does not exist instead of trying to create it
• config file is written to (timestamp changes) even if nothing changes (why should it?)
