Hello, I apologize if this is the wrong way to suggest this. I am completely unfamiliar with the ways of GitHub.
My workflow uses a somewhat tedious workaround to the issue of not being able to pick a frame that is not the first frame. I use this workflow with MatAnyone 1, and would love to see a more streamlined solution.
THE REASON WHY I DO IT: I often have videos of my hand going in and out of frame, so using the first frame is not always the best, and I don't need all of the video masked, just part of it.
I usually go into a video editor, pick the frame I want, export a single image of that frame, render everything past that frame that I need masked out, then process it. Then, for the stuff before that frame, I have to render out and reverse.
practical suggestion: add an option to pick the frame you want, then behind the scenes the program would process forward and backward from that frame.
I am not a serious programmer (or vibe coder) so I can't implement this myself.
It would be wonderful to see this feature!
Thanks,
