installing swift without database - website settings error handling

Hi,
when installing swift without the database, there are errors thrown in the website settings, when the swift and website settings items are added as itemtype on the website.
Seems like it could be fixed with some optimized error handling as the errors are thrown from some of the swift templates, because of null reference exceptions.
