Goal of fork?

I'm looking into and evaluating what Go libraries are available for F5/BigIP. First ones I found were yours and your upstream. I see both have seen a decent amount of development since the fork. Are you intending this to be a stand alone fork with different goals or is it planned to merge the work back upstream?
