RTD Welcome page: Slide show

Description/Motivation
A slide show with impressions from the project shall be integrated into the welcome page.

Approach 1 - auto-generated gif

• A gif with a static file name is created from images (png, gif, ...) in a predefined folder
• The gif is integrated into the welcome page (./doc/rtd/index.rst)

Task list

• 1 Set up a system for auto-generated slide show gifs
• 2. Integration into a suitable github workflow script
• 3. Initial list of 5-10 images
