Aldot is a contemporary serif typeface that brings together the warmth of old-style forms and the clarity of the transitional tradition. Designed as a hybrid of these two influences, it offers excellent readability for long texts while maintaining an elegant presence in titles and display applications. Special attention has been given to the Greek alphabet, introducing subtle contemporary details that provide a refreshed and distinctive character.
In addition to its standard character set, Aldot includes old-style figures and a second set of alternative Greek lowercase forms, offering greater typographic flexibility and richness. By balancing tradition with contemporary refinement, Aldot provides a timeless yet fresh typographic voice for books, editorial design, and headings alike.
